A girl's doze of a bad boy

As said in the last post, I'm here to share my new buys.

 Studded heels - Glassons $15 (originally $50)
Mum is so going to kill me when she see these bad boys but that's okay, a girl's got to have her fix of a heart breaker. I've eyed these out for the longest time but always found excuses not to buy them, it's too high, maybe it's not versatile and on top, do I really want to spend $50 for this? Given my current fiances it was no. I have to spend my money in slow, slow, slow releases seeing since I am unemployed at the moment and so this was a no go zone (don't worry, I'm working again next year! gah so happy). When I saw these on special, I knew I had to grab them, even if they're a little too big for me (socks it is). How could I not when they were just $15??? Sometimes I really hate retail stores, they can afford to sell these shoes at $15 yet they originally sold it for more than double the prize of $15 *rant*.

 Gemini necklace - Diva $5.40 (originally $10.99)
I'm not a believer of horoscopes, I mean it's a lot to ask me to believe that your personality is determined on some constellations in the sky. For one thing, every Gemini I know do not have the exact same traits as me right down to my habit of hating Hawaiian pizza. I definitely believe these horoscopes prediction of personality and monthly events are just hit and miss. With everything that's written down, there's bound to be something you can relate to, and for most people that's enough to win them over. Me on the other hand think about things to logically and it's going to take more than "you will be feeling stress this month" to make me join that band wagon. However, I'm a fan of the actually star signs. It's pretty amazing how these were invented and I've always loved the drawings for these star signs. Was it weird that as a kid I used to cut out these drawings from magazines and stick them on my books?

The teapot cutout and these books were bought for $5 from Typo.
The teapot is just about as useful as a cat that can't meow but it's so cute, I couldn't resist. These books shall contribute to my schooling next year.

Anh gave me more of her unwanted clothes! I love receiving old clothes because I have an obsession with trying to alter them (but ultimately destroying them).

Oh I've decided to pick up lol again. I thought maybe this time round if I try and understand the game more I'll actually enjoy it and will be able to play with SS from time to time. I've had two lessons so far, I'm improving, I mean I only died 3 times (bahahha) and destroyed two torrents, see baby steps. If you guys have an account add me: serynaa.

As soon as another person (some little girl from my former school) used the url of this blog on tumblr, two people instantly told me about it. I love that they (the people that told me) think I'm worth copying of and even told me about it but I really don't mind. Besides, what if she never even came across my blog before? Highly doubt that though because the first time I ever spoke to her, she informed me her sister tried to shop for one of my outfit, which is pretty flattering but the point is she definitely knows who I am. Whatever the situation is I'm not to fussy, it seems pretty childish to point fingers and shout copycat and I actually don't feel bothered at all.
Which is strange because in the past I've always hated when anyone do things I do, intentionally or not. Now I just feel like all you can do in life is be yourself and don't worry about others. No two people can be the exact same and so don't fear, there's not going to be a clone of you anytime soon. As a child I was always afraid that if others steal me ideas, I'd be worth less because they robbed my worth. Instead, now I want to build my worth so that even if I'm robbed of some, I have plenty more to spear. Plus in our generation, nothing is original anymore (I didn't even come up with unicorn ate my homework, I saw it somewhere on a fb like page a year ago). You have to learn to steal an idea and better that idea, which makes you a copycat really, so you can't blame others from borrowing snippets of you (of course this doesn't apply if someone steals your entire essay or you know, fraud, lol).

I'm on the right track, yeah I'm on to a winner <<

Updated my Lookbook, I've been dead on there for awhile now.

Today I helped dad with my new shoes case! We've been on a hunt for one for so long and couldn't find one to our liking.  Given the circumstances, we decided to build one ourselves. Dad has convinced himself he's a real handyman lately. He recently build a roof structure connecting to the house in our backyard and a storage room out back. He's trying to find way to occupy his time until next year where we will have a business again. Back to the case, he build the thing and I painted it, it's a lot harder than it would seem. I got paint in my hair and all over my legs etc. I will never get over how a paint colour is not what it seems, with any given paint really. The paint dad gave me was this creamy brown white. I was really disappointed because I wanted white (I've recently developed an obsession with white things) but I didn't want to be a brat and make dad drive all the way to buy white paint so I painted the shelf with that gross colour (okay it's not gross but it isn't white so basically not white=gross). What do you know though, when the paint dried, I would have never guessed that it came from the same paint tin. It's white! An off white, like in the way how twink isn't the be the same colour as paper, but it's white neither the less. This time the paint turning out a different colour than it appeared originally is for the best, but most of time like when you're doing an art work, it's a nightmare. I shall share the pictures of the shoes case another time.
