Welcome home

This week mum arrived back in New Zealand from Cambodia. It's good to have her back and of course, she bought us back gifts. More than usual because this time she even paid for extra baggage.

Originally mum was going to get some costume made dresses for me and already had my measurements and designs but once she was there my cousins showered her with their old (never worn and some even have tags) clothes. I don't want to take a picture of each item individually but I will say what I got.
I got two traditional Khmer shirt (the ones with heavy beading) and a traditional skirt.
A total of 9 dresses, 4 short shorts, 3 skirt, 2 pants and 1 shirt. It's like I'm stocked for another year without having to buy clothes (though we all know I will buy clothes anyways). My cousins are always giving me clothes, left and right, and I love it, they know me too well.

Mum bought us some movies as well; Life of Pi, The Hunger Games, The Hobbits, Rise of the Guardians, Breaking dawn part 1&2, Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Skyfall, The Amazing Spiderman and The perks of being a wallflower.

Mum got my iPod fixed, bought me a bunch of new bobbins and surprised me with a new phone! I have a hard time figuring out which of the three I'm more happy to see. I used to only have 1 bobbin. It was such a drag changing colour treads every single time, now I can allocate one colour to each bobbin. My ipod had been recently cracked (ops) and now it's all shiny and fixed (the dots on the screen are from the screen protector which have glitter in them). I have been carrying around the same phone since year 8 and it's completely ancient and have a really bad battery life. I've switched phones before but the others never stuck, no matter how brick like my LG slide was, it was functional but even phones have numbered days. Now my baby is a Samsung Galaxy S.
I got two new bed sheets as well, above you can see one of them is a floral print one.

My parents refused to buy fairy lights in NZ because they said they're hugely over prices and in Cambodia they sell like a Elizabethan era play. True to her words she came home with 4 fairy lights for the price of next to nothing.

I have been neglecting instagram but only because I couldn't go on but now I have two device that serves the purpose so I should be on again. (Chipped nails, yikes.)

My lunch sometime this week. Toasties with avocado, scrambled eggs and cheese.

Mum also got my watch fixed.

I recently have to let go for 4 more jeans because my butt is too fat, yay. The dark blue Miss Sixty jeans formally were my all time favourite; they were super-skinnies, low rider and had great back pockets.

That is all for now. I'll be back tomorrow with an outfit post. Bye bye unicorns.
