Hooray to the holidays! Term one has officially ended for me with some good and bad news.
But after loosing a friend for the first time I've learnt that we need to focus on the good things in life.
I attended a funeral for the first time and to my delight even though everyone was tearful to say goodbye, we still shared laughter over a life well lived. I was glad I was surrounded by people from my childhood classes. It wasn't the reunion I had pictured for us down the road but it was nice in its strange little way.
With that aside I'd glad to share that I'm now on the student counsel at school! We planning some events coming up and I look forward to the rest of the year. I ended the term with some good grades but there was a bad in the mix. I got my first merit in math in over .... I can't even remember ever getting a merit in math before. That was a little depressing but the fault was mine alone so I've learnt to let it go and move on.
I started the my holiday just staying at home and rearranging my room, much to everyone's eye roll (I do this a lot). I went out for dinner with my family and Daisy yesterday. Today I'm over at Daisy's to steal internet to blog and play LoL.
