I'm so excited for this movie, I can't wait to fangirl all over again, especially after waiting for 2-3 years for this movie.
Of course originally I had actors in mind before the casting and so it was disappointing to see others cast instead but I suppose the director is just trying to do what's best for the movie. I don't doubt these actors abilities to act but I guess I will never really get use to Jace, well now right now anyways. I doubted Lilly Collins at first but she makes a cute Clary. I didn't imagine Clary as sweet looking, more of a hard shell/stubborn looking but I think this works too. I really thought Emma Roberts suit the look of Clary, but I haven't really seen her do these type of movies before so maybe Lilly is more suited. I think Simon is perfect, seeing him before hand on Misfits really help me imagine him acting goofy, but this time not as rude. Isabel looks badass, hair dye and some gadgets can really transform a girl. Alec is...well I was never fussing with him so the actor cast is fine with me. His profile shot on imb did worried me quite a bit but in motion yeah he can be an Alec.
I hope this turns out to be enjoyable.
