I told mum I'd go study at Daisy's house with Anh and you know what us three did? Watched Barbie and the three musketeers (don't ask), went out to Yum Cha, shopped at Salvies, visited China Town, swap clothes with Wendy and made DIY's with Daisy.
I complained all the way through Barbie, I don't remember all these faults when I watched these movies growing up, I'M GETTING OLD (says the 16 year old still watching Barbie).
Incidentally, the words Yum Cha means "drink tea" but if you say the exact same thing, it means "eat stir fry" in Khmer.
Salvation Army was close by so we went to have a look. Things are pretty expensive for second hand things but I guess it's for charity so people like me just have to suck it up.
China town was inches away we so went to have a look as well. A lot of stores are shut down now. We didn't really find anything to buy, totally made this shopaholic sad.
We went back to Daisy to pick up our things and then when Anh was being dropped off at her house, I walked to meet up to Wendy. We exchanged clothes which is a pretty good deal.
I walked home and gave my brother the left-over Yum Cha and then Daisy showed up to do some DIY's.
Taking my new diy hairclip out for a spin.
We bought charms from China Town because we realised in the four years of friendship we're never made acknowledging friendship bracelets. (I say acknowledging because I've made them bracelets before".
Aren't they beautiful? We wanted to mimick the pandora bracelet but were too cheap to buy similar chains.
Bought these because I'm a sucker for pastels and roses.
Being cheap as I am, I used wiring from the flowers to make the wreath as well.
These were originally clip on earrings, which I would have no use for so I turned them into sweater clips.
I had a pleasant day, yay.
Ta now mah peeps.
I used to do the same with my mum and say I'm going to study at my friends, but as I get there plans change and study time is ditched for some shopping and food!
