I went to a make-up sales at the ASB showgrounds today! It was my first time even though I've heard about it every single year I've been living in Auckland (you can tell I don't get out much).
What really won me over was something I saw in their catalog. Are you ready to fine out what was amazing enough to convince this couch potato to travel all the way to Greenlane?
Mediterrania by Elizabeth Arden ($25)! I know the packaging is pretty tragic but it's the best fragrance I've smelt up to date. Elizabeth Arden usually have better packaging...not amazing but they look professional. This one looks like those fake perfume you get at drug stores. Nevertheless the smell is to die for, or to-travel-to-Greenlane-when-the-weather-is-depressing-for.My cousin gave me a small bottle about 3 or 4 years ago and I fell in love. Even after the last drop was used up, I kept the bottle for a few more months just to get a whiff now and then. I'm not too big on perfumes so I never got round to searching for it again, until now when I stumbled across it while reading the newspaper.
Normally I think this fragrance is around $60. At Parallel Imports you can get it cheaper at around $40.
Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing no.010 - $15.
Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick no.455 Paparazzi Pink - $7. The last time I bought this range of lipstick (also Superlustrous), they were around $20 to $30, if I remember correctly.
Revlon Colorstay Brow Enhancer - $10. I bought this because I was told to use a lighter colour brow pencil if I have dark hair but I've always used a brow colour the same as my hair. There's always a first. Plus also I wanted the highlighter at the top of the pencil. I was searching for a gold eyeliner but no such luck. The highlighter was the closest I got and it works just fine.
My arm at the end of the day.
Now time for the outfit photos.

I was meant to go to my first hockey training of this year but...it was raining cats and dogs and so I figured it was cancelled (unless they were doing cardio in the gym which I'm glad I missed out on). There was an earthquake in Auckland. I felt nothing. I was too busy eating my tofu with minced chicken when my brother ran down to ask me if I felt the earthquake. I logged into facebook and I saw about a life's supply of statuses about the issue.

love the photos! :D
