Dyeing my hair: Loreal 60 Pure Light Brown

Yesterday on a whim I decided to dye my hair.

I've never dyed my hair before, except highlights/streaks. Since my hair isn't a total virgin I thought it might have held a dye colour moderately and so I chose a light brown thinking I'd get a medium brown.

It's my first time using foam application too.

The end result is not dramatic at all. My theory was proven wrong. My hair is pretty much a virgin apart from the highlight pieces.

Indoors with no natural lighting, my hair looks exactly the same as before, maybe even darker as my orange/blonde highlights have been changed to a brown.

However under the sun my hair is lighter than before over-all even though my highlights have gone darker.

Sadly I don't stand in the sun all day and spend most of my time indoors at school, home or work.

I didn't bother taking any pictures indoors with no natural lighting because you seriously are looking at black hair.

At first I didn't think my hair got anywhere close to the box's colour but after making this comparison picture, it seems under the sun my hair just made the mark.

I guess I just wasn't born with a natural light reflector in my hair and that must be why there's such a difference from indoors to outdoors colour.
