It's new dawn, it's a new day

Hey guys and welcome to another blog post of mine! Well this is my weekly updates where I just throw my readers a cluster of accumulating pictures.

First of, I'm not sure if you noticed in my newest video but I rearranged my room. Well if you follow on instagram you would have already known this. Anyways, this is what it looks like now with the help of my brother.
I like the new position of my bed because it create so much more room, which is convenient when I'm filming or taking outfit shoots (going outside to shoot would be pretty insane with the on and off weather we've been having up north here).

Also at night, as I lay in my bed I can look up the sleeves of my blinds and watch the street lamps. It's very therapeutic and I would highly recommend if you have the chance to position your bed this way.

My love affair with white furniture continues. Yes it bothers me too that my desk isn't white but hey, it's not very practical to throw out a perfectly functioning table for vanity purposes.

I still need to change a few other little things around; I just don't feel content right now.

I know I've said it a thousand times but if you want more regular updates, keep in touch with me on instagram! SERYNAA

Oh and I should mention that on Saturday I went to an engineer experience day with three of my science geeks, you can purchase your very own at your school's laboratory.

I woke up at 6am. Which was a big hassles for the boys but I usually work on a Saturday so I was okay. Mum dropped me off at Avnit's house. I rang Brendan once I got there and apparently my phone call was what woke him up so we ended up having to pick him up from his house. Then Avnit drove up to North Shore despite me insisting he's not yoloswag enough to.

We ended up being the first there, which was a bit annoying (it was really cold). Our location was Massey Uni. It's my first time seeing the Uni and I'd have say I think I'm in love. I really hope in the future I get a chance to study there.
(Oh yes, people went in their school uniform, they were just that keen on representing their school) On the right was a small segment one of our activities. Our group won first place or won creativity, I'm not sure which one, we didn't get a prize so I forgot. The task was to invent an aqueduct with the given materials, and they were the most useless material you can possible build an aqueduct out of. My team got chocolate, CHOCOLATE. We teamed up with two other groups who had water bottles and Leggo.

The second activity was my favourite which was a Mathex style challenge, but with physics. Every thing was completely new to us so I was pretty proud that we got our answers right. I liked that task best because there was a set mark you aim for and you either hit it or miss it. The other tasks were more opinion based. Plus also I totally miss Mathex! That's the one thing I'd redo junior high for, heh. I remember loving the inter-school annual Mathex held in the gym and once I was picked to represent our school at regionals.

The host expressed how exciting it was to know the whole lecture hall was filled with nerdy people, which is pretty cool, I almost felt like I was apart of a Dragons and Dungeon club. On the right is my name tag, and yes our team name is Chocana. Get it? Chocolate and banana because Avnit and Shreyan are Indian and Brendan being half Asian and myself being Asian? I'm not allowed to pick our team names anymore.

Mum was late to pick us up, of course, so we grabbed a bite to eat. We noticed how we virtually saw no pedestrians at North Shore, it's like rich people don't walk or something.

That's all from me for now, and I guess I'm going immerse myself in work load again, or maybe not...

  1. It's refreshing to have a rearrangement of furniture, glad it's worked out well so far :) Also, have I ever mentioned this but.. I am so envious of your room!
It's so ideal and picturesque, while mine feels like an ancient cave. I was going to put up a room tour post but it's clearly not presentable. :3
Anywho, that little conference thing looks fun ;) I might have to attend one soon, hope I don't fall asleep!
P.S. Rich people don't walk, they get people to walk for them.

  2. Your room looks lovely, why don't you paint the desk white, would it get ruined or something? I'm also being in a total rearranging mood, I've actually started proposing my friends to fix their rooms too *weirdo mode on*
