Hello there! I'm so excited today because that's right, I'm going to watch Catching Fire!(!!!!!)
I started the series when I was really young so it has a sentimental value. My judgement is quite clouded and I can't be sure if I would still be this fond of the series if I read it for the first time now. Nevertheless, all I know is I love it and that I've waited years for this movie.
Hunger Games was the first post Apocalyptic series I read. I was so mind blown and overwhelmed with emotions. I still remember recommending it to all my friends and having them ask me "is it about eating?". No joke. With the vast majority of them responding with that question, I'm assuming my fellow die-hard fans back in the days got the same experience as me when (forcefully) suggesting the series to others.
Now with soooooo many dystopian books, it's hard to come across a well written one. At the moment, the only one I'm genuinely enjoying is the Divergent series and even with that I see plot holes. BUT CAN WE TAKE A SECOND TO THANK VERONICA ROTH FOR NOT CREATING A (PROMINENT) LOVE TRIANGLE FOR THE PROTAGONIST????? God bless you Veronica, *rubs her forehead with lotion Simba style*.
