Failure defeats losers, failure inspires winners

My exam papers arrived in the mail. I went through the questions and remember how unsure I was answering some of the questions and fully guessing the answer. I still don't know know which questions I got right and which I got wrong as I don't understand the marks on the paper. I'll be bringing some of them to school to go over with my teachers hopefully.

I finished reading remember me. It's three books. I cheated after reading the first and went on goodreads to see reviews. People said the first book is good but the last two aren't...I'm a little put off because I didn't greatly love the first book either. I wouldn't say I hate it because I do like it, I just don't love it, especially the ending that was all too cheesy. Right now I'm diving into 'The book thief' by Markus Zusak. I was hugely curious over the book last year when we had to read I am the messenger for school. I saw the cover of The book thief on the back and the title caught me. I found it in the library and thought why not. I've read other books about the Nazis and they never really caught my attention but this one does. I find the fact that it's written from the point of view of Death is something dark and captivating. Because of this book I want to read the Anne Frank diary, I wanted to before after reading The fault in our stars but now I really want to.

In one day I managed to get two friends to check out two of my favourite books. The school librarian must have found it amusing to see me escort two people at different times with books she knows I've read.

I'll share some photos from serynaveng.tumblr.com.
This when I was flying back to NZ from Singapore.

I was riding in a tour boat in Singapore at night.

Just a detail shot of one of my shirt, which I sold now, to Steff.

My name means serenity. I don't think I particularly ooze out serenity, in fact I very loud and distract classmates from work all the time.

Emily. I had asked her to pose some time ago with the intention of using the picture to look at for structure guide when drawing.

This is Shrestha the time we were at Anh's house party. Oh and her name means 'the greatest', I googled.

  1. Good luck with your exam paper lovely! The title of this post is very inspiring itself! ^^ Also, my FAVOURITE book of all time is the book thief! I favoured it even over Harry Potter. I can hands down say it's the most moving book I've read. Crazy waterworks throughout it. (even tho I don't normally cry easily reading books!) Enjoy! :D
