Seven deadly sins

I've always wanted to do the seven deadly sins but wasn't sure what I'd do differently from the ones that already exist.

In the end I decided to incorporate the sins with their punishments. Surely that's enough to be different. I may be wrong but so far I have not come across another seven deadly sins series involving their punishments.

Surprisingly when I mentioned the deadly sins to my friends, few knew what I was talking about. I thought it was something everyone knew, just like how we all know the lyrics to Rudolph the red nose reindeer, but I guess not.

Dismembered alive.
"[Anger is] the name of a passion. A passion of the sensitive appetite is good in so far as it is regulated by reason, whereas it is evil if it set the order of reason aside." - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

Forced to eat rats, toads and snakes.
"Wise temperance of the stomach is a door to all the virtues. Restrain the stomach, and you will enter Paradise. But if you please and pamper your stomach, you will hurl yourself over the precipice of bodily impurity, into the fire of wrath and fury, you will coarsen and darken your mind, and in this way you will ruin your powers of attention and self-control, your sobriety and vigilance." - Russian Bishop Ignatius Brianchaninov

Put in cauldrons of boiling oil.
"It is a sin directly against one's neighbor, since one man cannot over-abound in external riches, without another man lacking them." - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

Put in freezing water.
"Envy according to the aspect of its object is contrary to charity, whence the soul derives its spiritual life... Charity rejoices in our neighbor's good, while envy grieves over it." - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

Thrown in snake pit.
"[Sloth is the] sluggishness of the mind which neglects to begin good... [it] is evil in its effect, if it so oppresses man as to draw him away entirely from good deeds." - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

Smothered in fire and brimstone.
"..wherever there occurs a special kind of deformity whereby the venereal act is rendered unbecoming, there is a determinate species of lust." - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

 Broken on the wheel.
"Inordinate self-love is the cause of every sin" - Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas

The photo manipulation side of things were challenging but I got there in the end. Not as well as I wished but it's a lot better than nothing.

Stocks:

Recently another friend asked me to be their model for art project, making them the third to ask this year. I told him two others had already involved me so I don't think I'm a candidate to him anymore.
It beats me why anyone would want to paint me.
I thought Anh asking was pretty given since I'm her best friend and it shall be convenient.
Hannah asking me was more flattering but I knew why she had ask me, because I was Asian, and not any type of Asian, South East. Her art project involve cultures. My features were only considered culturally.
Geoffrey asking me was a little more strange. God knows the sucker is close friends with a bunch of more beautiful girls above my year. Well I'm pretty out of the running now so maybe he will use them.
