Seven deadly sins

I've always wanted to do the seven deadly sins but wasn't sure what I'd do differently from the ones that already exist.

In the end I decided to incorporate the sins with their punishments. Surely that's enough to be different. I may be wrong but so far I have not come across another seven deadly sins series involving their punishments. 

Surprisingly when I mentioned the deadly sins to my friends, few knew what I was talking about. I thought it was something everyone knew, just like how we all know the lyrics to Rudolph the red nose reindeer, but I guess not.

Dismembered alive.

Forced to eat rats, toads and snakes.

 Put in cauldrons of boiling oil.

Put in freezing water.

Thrown in snake pit.

 The photo manipulation side of things were challenging but I got there in the end. Not as well as I wished but it's a lot better than nothing.

Recently another friend asked me to be their model for art project, making them the third to ask this year. I told him two others had already involved me so I don't think I'm a candidate to him anymore.
It beats me why anyone would want to paint me.
I thought Anh asking was pretty given since I'm her best friend and it shall be convenient.
Hannah asking me was more flattering but I knew why she had ask me, because I was Asian, and not any type of Asian, South East. Her art project involve cultures. My features were only considered culturally.
Geoffrey asking me was a little more strange. God knows the sucker is close friends with a bunch of more beautiful girls above my year. Well I'm pretty out of the running now so maybe he will use them.

Sancy Vinatra

I wanted to do something inspired by Nancy Sinatra. I don't listen to her music myself and probably have only heard "These boots are made for walking" because of Shrek, however I saw a picture of her with flowers all over her hair and what part of that can I not love? I'm floral-crazy, or just crazy I suppose, but either way I loved the picture so much it resulted in me taking this picture.

I hung with Daisy and Anh today. It was a classic girly get together where pms was discussed and ice cream was eaten.

I shall blog tomorrow of my new buys. For now here's some outtake where I look less plastic like.

Ma Cherie

Recently I helped model for a friend's online boutique called Ma Cherie (which means 'My Darling' in French). Shakira took Daisy and me into the city to do the shoot. It was a bit awkward having some many people stare (one guy pretend to join in and take picturs while other gave us photography advice) but the end results were worth it.

I helped her make her banner and profile picture for facebook too. The photography were by Daisy and Shakira, editing by me. It was my first time wearing such intense lip colours, my favourite would be the first and the young and free colours because they're more my style.

A quick hello and bye (kind of)

Hello all! I've moved houses recently and you know how new areas are; internet. It's as hard to get as water in the desert. We're getting the net soon but the package is ridiculously expensive but it's the only one that provide for our area, something about octa fiber.

Anyways here's a quick post.

My brothers were in an unusually good mood and agreed to take photos. I reckon it's just because we don't have internet and they're bored.

I should do a post later for my room once I get internet at my house and when I get all my furniture in place (plus blinds).

Nothing is really new with me, just keeping my head down with school work and getting involved in the House of The Night series (I kinda like it, I really love the first book but the second is kida ehh, I'm too early into the third one to decide). I hope guys are having a lovely day/week/month. Seeyah when I can stay longer to post.

Rockabilly meets comic strip

Awhile ago my cousin suggested that I should try out the suicide roll. I did my research and learnt the pin up faux fringe along with it too and here is my result. It's a bit of an identity crisis, it's somewhat rockabilly/retro/comic/pop art (Andy Warhol). I'm not too sure, you can dicide for what best floats your goat. I wanted to do the victory rolls too but man, you have no idea how long it took me to do these two hairdos. I guess I'm just really slow at these things, I have no idea how girls who get up every morning to do they make-up and hair. I guess beauty is pain. Or maintenance is pain, one or the other.
