Spring is here and the flowers are out to put on a show. What better way to spend this fine day than to track through the botanical garden?
Shiv, Daisy, Felix and I decided to have a little picnic. Everything was very last minute and we just grabbed what we could. Shiv didn't even wake up till 11 so we had to wait outside his house for a bit. We then went to grab some food and I even managed to squeeze in a quick shop in a thrift store.
Though the sun was blazing the wind was putting up a fight too so we had to find shelter behind a tree for our picnic.
Afterwards we packed up everything in the car and walked around the maze of foliage and flowers.
Eels are actually quite cute if you give them a chance. But like...just to look at.
Spring time means baby animals!
Daisy's choice of clothing coordinates with the surrounding.
Um. (but still cute tho)
What a peaceful tangle of woods.
I love cacti and succulents so much! I don't claim to be an expert so I don't know what species they are or what family group they're from ect, but I'm sure universally we generalise green plants that grow effortlessly, often are sun drunk and have prickles.
And that concludes today's appreciation post of mother nature ♥
