Haul | Europe's bounty

As you know I did a little (or a lot) of travelling early this year. I picked up some gems along the way and I wanted to share them with you. It's just a video of me being goofy in the clothes I bought so if you're into that, click the play button. WATCH IN HD because I screwed up while editing...

Haul | Holiday hoard

Long time no haul. I really enjoy sharing my goods but I don't often throw out my money in one go to have a decent sized haul. Luckily I've acquired many goods from my holiday and here's a haul now.

Diary | Must haves, Massad and More

I've been busy and lazy from work. The sky has been cloudy for over seven days straight so I have little motivation to snap outfit shots. But every cloud has a silver lining right? No pun intended. Okay I intended a little. In the absence of outfit shots, this is the perfect time for me to dig out old photos and share with you my photos from events and items I'm currently in love with.

Haul | Mini weekend splurge

I did a little shopping over the weekend with my mum. I even managed to pick up my ball dress on a whim! I can still hardly believe it but I guess I can't back out now. It was very cheap and I loved the colour, impulse took over. I'll save pictures of that for another time. In the mean time let me show you my sweet pick ups.

 1)Thick woolly drape cardigan by Mirrou - $29 (or $28? I can't remember)
I'm wearing this as we speak.

 2)Sport bra by Cotton On - $35
Seems like every time I shop, I bring home another exercise clothing. It's not like I'm a hardcore athlete, but they make me feel like one.

 3) Girlfriend jeans by Glassons - $60
Personally I would call these straight leg jeans. I guess fashion at the moment likes to name their clothing items to sound like you've stolen it from somebody else's closet. But the name aside, I can tell I will be wearing these as second skin.

 4) Double Wear 01 Stay Rose by Estee Lauder - $59

This is my new favourite lippy of all time! The whole brand had the best shades I've ever seen. Mac was previously my favourite lipstick brand but I think Estee takes the spot now. It's a little more pricey but you get what you pay for - and let me tell you, you're paying for a miracle. Okay exaggeration but in all honesty Estee Lauder has by far been the best I've tried (that's not saying much since I've only ranged between Shiseido, Mac, to Revlon). The formula I got was pretty matte in my opinion, and that's just how I like it. I always try to avoid lipsticks with sparkles...I don't know why...personal preferences I guess. It's very long wear compared to Mac which tend to rub off for me when I eat). Even Shiseido which is pretty much the same price doesn't stay on for long. I wanted the whole stand because each and every single shade was perfection! You know how the bottom of the lipstick usually display a very delicious colour but then you turn out the actual lipstick it's a different story? I find Estee's actual lipsticks are prettier than the colour their advertise on their packaging.

Thrift store haul

My mother and I yet again spent another Saturday after work scavenging a thrift store (and later shopping at Westfield).

I've drifted away from doing hauls this year but thrifting? I just love sharing my finds. I feel like I'm show casing my hunt, like a fisherman and his prize catch.

Now; time to reveal my fish.

This is the most gorgeous piece of thrifted fabric. Definitely one of my favourite thrifted item to date.

I'm not sure if you remember but this was the shirt I mentioned in my last thrift haul. The one I said had an ugly satin belt across the stomach. I decided to buy it...how much it cost, I thought I might as well and see how it turns our if I transformed it into a skirt. This is the result. It's quite messy but I love the details too much.

This was originally from Glassons and the tag says size 14. It was so cheap and it's a baggy fit on me so I had to get it.

Found this in the reject 50 cent bin. At the moment I like it but I can't say I'll be wearing it much in the future...

Mum really didn't want me to buy this. She says it's very old, in both sense of being physically old and that the style is old. However me and my baggy knits can not be separated. I had to initiate a swap, taking out another item mum didn't like for this (which was surprised surprised a chiffon singlet with tribal beading from Just Jeans).

All of these items are in the wash right now, along with my yesstyle acid wash denim jacket that just arrived! (Note to self, all acid washed clothing will smell like blench.)

I came back from a hockey game today to two good news! Three if we're counting my team's stop at Carl's Jr to fuel up after our game. The next is the full release of Heart by heart! Ananya left me a message on fb and I am in love. You can check it out {here}. The last news isn't definite so I wouldn't want to jinx it. Just now I am extremely over the moon!

Until next time, take care everyone.
